Cathedral of Chania

Greek Orthodox

Chania, Crete

Greece

The Cathedral has three naves, dedicated to the Holy Virgin, Saint Nicholas, and the Three Hierarchs. While used as a soap factory during the Turkish occupation (1665-1898), it was still regarded as a holy place to make special intercession to the Virgin Mary.
