There's a saint that we remember

Saint Nicholas with children and angels

Postcard: Germany

St Nicholas Center Collection

There's a saint that we remember
Each sixth of December.
He's the patron of all children,
Of sailors and more.

Celebrate, sing and dance we,
Nicholas we now all see.
Make your way, now in splendour
To greet one and all.

Many legends, many stories—
They speak of your glory.
Ever faithful, Holy Nicholas,
Whose wonders are told.

Celebrate, sing and dance we,
Nicholas we now all see.
Make your way, now in splendour
To greet one and all.

He brings gifts, but we must now tell
Of all who behave well,
Doing good unto others
At home and at play.

Celebrate, sing and dance we,
Nicholas we now all see.
Make your way, now in splendour
To greet one and all.
