Duke of York Square

On an early November evening, the event begins with a carol service at Holy Trinity Church, followed by St. Nicholas' arrival. When a candle lit cavalcade arrives from Harvey Nichols, St. Nicholas in a horse-drawn carriage then leads the way to Duke of York Square with a Gospel Choir. St. Nicholas performs the Switch-on that illuminates the area with Christmas lights. After a walkabout, fireworks provide a dramatic finish.
