The German Christmas Festival features the St. Nicholas Parade with St. Nicholas riding through the town to St. James Catholic Church. The festival includes an arts and crafts fair, German food, cookie walk and a German band. St. Nicholas wears vestments patterned after German 18th century bishop's. He greets children in the parish hall.
