St. Timothy's Episcopal Church

The parish recovered this medieval tradition in 2012, installing St. Timothy's first Boy Bishop on the eve of St. Nicholas Day. The young man was vested and enthroned at Evensong held in the church hall. Other choristers served as canons to the new bishop. A senior chorister in the fifth-grade is chosen by parish leaders for dedication and involvement with the church. The young bishop leads the service, including the names of previous boy bishops.
