Rochester, New York, USABreakfast with St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas’ chair was next to the fireplace and the children were gathered around, waiting for Nicholas to enter. While they waited, there was talk about St. Nicholas’ life and virtues and why he is called a saint. Children sang Jingle Bells as Nicholas entered. He greeted each child, asking what they were doing for others this Christmas and how they wanted Christmas to be special. He had treats for each child, who also received a Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus bag with books and inexpensive toys.
