Chamber of Trade & St Nicholas Church

Alcester St Nicholas Church hosts the annual St Nicholas Night Festival. The street festival closes the High Street for fireworks, children's rides, stalls, and street entertainment. St Nicholas Church leads the procession with the Boy Bishop. Special St Nicholas ales and a St Nicholas Supper are also on offer. In the spirit of St Nicholas a percentage of the take from shops and stalls supports local youth projects. The celebration closes with a 15-minute Compline of St Nicholas, Gregorian chant sung in the church.
