From the 1997 Europa set of legends, this one the legend of Mastor Manole, showing the Cathedral of St. Nicholas at the Curtea de Arges Monastery in Romania. After imprisoning his wife in the walls so they would stand, the prince removed the scaffolding, leaving Manole so he couldn't get down and build a more beautiful church. Manole made wooden wings to fly down, but crashed.
