17th century Russian Byzantine cross showing the Holy Spirit as dove and adoring angels above the crucified Christ; beneath his feet is Adam's skull. A rivulet of blood flows from his pierced side. St. Nicholas appears on the reverse side. The handle is uniquely faceted.
