The boat is designed for both floor and bath play. It plays two Sinterklaas songs in Dutch: Sinterklaas Kapoentje and Zie Ginds Komt de Stoomboot (See Yonder Comes the Steamboat).

Beginning in 2015 the boat was sold without the discontinued Piet figure.
