The saint wears vestments in Morellone red like the Morello Cherries harvested from Bell Meadow. He carries St. Nicholas Church on the Isle of Thanet and a boat caught in a Great Wave inspired by Hokusai's print. Gold represents the Uncreated Light of God. The ochre background contains marks made by the congregation and many welcome visitors.
