Church of England (Anglican)

Church Website

The church is primarily Norman with one of the largest towers in Kent, whose walls (1150) are said to be up to eight feet thick (the buttresses are a later addition). Built on the site of an earlier Saxon church, some of the earlier stones are incorporated into the walls. The nave and chancel date to the 15th century. It is a Grade I listed building.
