The parish was formed in 1916; the church consecrated in 1917. The Pan-Orthodox congregation has people with backgrounds from Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Syria, the Ukraine, and the United States. The new church was consecrated in June 2013.
