Church of Saint Nicholas (Sveti Mikula)—& Benedictine Monastery

Komiza, Isle of Vis Croatia

Roman Catholic

The oldest part of the monastery is a one-nave Romanesque church from the 13th century. Between the 14th and 17th centuries a large five-nave church was built. Two high square Romanesque towers have been saved from the original monastery fortifications, the one above the church front was made into a bell tower in 1770.
