Church of England (Anglican)
A church was on this site in 1086, listed in the Domesday Book. Altered and rebuilt several times, it was originally longer and taller to accomodate people from Yardley Gobion and the workhouse. The Duke of Grafton, who was responsible for maintaining the chancel, had the right to sit for services with his household staff of 50 in the chancel. The church was significantly re-ordered in 1991 to provide a kitchen, toilets, meeting room, and flexible seating. All to enable wider and more regular use.
