Berwick Bassett, Wiltshire England UK
[Church of England (Anglican)]
The church, essentially from the 14th century, is built of hard-to-work sarsen stone. The nave and chancel are medieval, though the chancel was rebuilt in brick during the 1700s. The Victorian tower top replaced a timber belfry; the weathercock shows evidence of being used for target practice. Since 1973 the church has been in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
