[Church of England (Anglican)]
The small 12th century Norman church has herring-bone masonry and some reused Roman brick and tile in the walls. Roman pottery shards regularly surface in the churchyard, left rom the Roman military station that was here. The church was modernized in 1831 and carefully restored in 1900. Few ancient churches are so little altered. It came under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust in 1993.
