Kingsley, Hampshire England UK
[Church of England (Anglican)]
In the 13th and 14th centuries the chapel was used by royalty who came to hunt and foresters working in the Alice Holt and Woolmer forests. It was subsidiary to St Lawrence, Alton. Falling into disrepair in the 18th century led to major rebuilding of the nave and upper tower. The simple church was declared redundant in 1975 and restored for use as a burial chapel. It is under the care of the Kingsley Parish Council and the Friends of St Nicholas.
