Taplow, Buckinghamshire England UK
Church of England (Anglican)
Taplow has had a church since the 7th century; a Norman church was razed in the 1820s and this church was consecrated on St Nicholas Day, 1912. In 1911 it was substantially rebuilt, adding the copper spire to the tower. St Nicolas belongs to the Burnham Team Ministry, but has its own vicar. St Birinus, Bishop of Dorchester, baptised converts in Bapsey Pool, near Taplow Court. He is also shown in a window in the church.
