Church of England (Anglican)
This St Nicholas Church stands on the site of a cell or chapel of the ancient British saint, St White. The building is typical of medieval Somerset village churches—and is little changed over time. The basic structure is 12th century Norman, cross-shaped with a short chancel, central tower and transepts. A south aisle was added in the 15th century.
The church is difficult to find, as it is in a somewhat interior location, not easy for the uninitiated.
