Paroisse Saint-Nicolas

Boulogne-sur-Mer, Hauts-de-France France

Roman Catholic

The Parish of St Nicholas is the oldest church in Boulogne, dating from the 13th century. It is the oldest significant surviving medieval guilding as the town suffered destruction in the French Revolution, World War I, and World War II. It became the main town church in the 1500s. Boulogne is a port city like many cities with St Nicholas churches. The church is always open and filled with worshippers and other visitors.
