Church of England (Anglican)
The present church, on the site of an earlier Saxon chapel, was built from the end of the 13th century into the early 14th. A tower base was built at the west end of the north aisle, but never completed. The tower is at the west end of the nave. 15th century changes added a clerestory, vestry, rood-stairs, screen, and loft. The church was restored in the mid-1800s, but no additions have been made since the 15th century, making the church a rare example of a medieval chuch.
