St Nicholas was the daughter church of Holy Trinity, Weymouth and they were a combined parish. St. Nicholas was founded in 1894 and was originally an iron tabernacle. The current building was dedicated in 1964. It is a combined church and hall that served the community, as well. The church was closed in 2018 and the site sold for redevelopment with eighteen affordable flats. The congregation is now a part of Holy Trinity Weymouth with St. Nicholas.
