Church of England (Anglican)
The late medieval church, primarily 1400s, is believed to have had a larger and higher spire, but because of decay in the timber, it was shortened. The lower part of the south wall was covered with ashlar, probably in the early 1700s, to make a suitable surface for playing fives, commonly done in Somerset. Later fives-court walls were built to discourage this use.
