Church of England (Anglican)
The church is built of local stone. It was originally Norman, but all that remains from the period is the north doorway. The bell-turret, north aisle, south porch and doorway were added in the early 1300s. It is a grade 1 listed building. St Nicholas' parish is part of the Benefice of Shipton-under-Wychwood with Milton-under-Wychwood, Fifield and Idbury.
