Church of England (Anglican)
The church is at the end of a long and narrow lane south of the Malverns, in an area known as Longdon Marsh. The composer Sir Edward William Elgar, whose popular works include Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 ("Land of Hope and Glory"), the Enigma Variations, and Chanson de Matin, often sat in the porch, enjoying the churchyard solitude. It is believed that, sitting out a thunderstorm in this porch, Elgar thought out the climax of The Apostles.
