Roman CatholicThe church dates to the end of the 13th century and is notable for the poor materials used in construction (brick and rubble), the use of light and shadow to decorative effect, and the use of wood panels, copying Arabian painted ceilings. Juan II and Doña Isabel of Portugal were married here in 1443. Queen Isabel was baptized in this San Nicolas. The church was named a National Monument in 1931.
