Eglise Saint-Nicolas

Saint-Nicolas-de-Sommaire, Normandie France

Roman Catholic

The church is from the 12th and 16th centuries. However, in 1848 the city lowered the level of the streets as much as one meter in some areas to improve access by horse-drawn carriages and to provide work for the unemployed. This caused the sacristy to be lost and other changes to the front of the church.
