The 15th century Gothic chapel has a carved and painted rood screen from 1680. One side has nine carved panels showing the life of St Nicholas and his miracles (birth, healing a blind man, Council of Nicaea, ship rescue, miracle of the grain, children in tub, punishing a debtor, saving a young man, and death). The other has thirteen panels for the thirteen apostles. The other side shows carvings of saints. It is the most beautiful rood screen in Brittany. The chapel is located between the villages of Priziac and Le Faouët. Click for the scenes of the Life of Nicholas on the rood screen
