The church has had a dual dedication to St Thomas and to St Nicholas. The Woughton Ecumenical Parish, formed in 1976, includes Christ the Vine Community Church Coffee Hall, Holy Trinity, Woolstones, St Mary's, Woughton on the Green, St Thomas' (and St Nicholas), Simpson, Trinity, Fishermead, and the Milton Keynes Hospital Chapel. Weekly services are held in all locations.
