Tserkva of St. Nicholas

Košice (Kozukhovce) Slovakia

[Greek Catholic (Byzantine)]

Built in 1741, the church was moved to the East-Slovakina Museum in Kosice. It is a typical Lemko wooden church with three-parts and three towers. Wall paintings from 1785 were restored in 1928. The 18th century iconostasis is made up of fragments from various Russian churches in East Slovakia.
