North Kelsey, Lincolnshire England UK
Church of England (Anglican)
The Norman church was extensively rebuilt and enlarged in 1784 and again in 1860, retaining the earlier tower with its 13th century bell openings. Though listed with dual dedication, the church now identifies itself as All Hallows. Stone from the demolished St Nicholas, South Kelsey, is thought to have been used in one of the major renovations. The name seemed to come along with the stone and stuck. Both names have been used over the years. However, it is believed that the church became All Hallows following Henry VIII's edict that all churches without patron saints become All Saints/Hallows.
