Eglise Saint-Nicolas

Le Plessis-Bouchard, Ile-de-France France

Roman Catholic

The church, built in the 17th century, has been restored inside and out with draining of wet walls, fixing interior cracks and installing heat under the floor. The church replaced a chapel from 1192 when a parish was established. The bells were melted in 1793 and the church reopened in 1804. The baptismal font is large, and used only for immersion.
