The church building, built in 1910 was formerly the Pilgrim Baptist Church. It was purchased by St. Nicholas Parish and converted for Russian Orthodox worship in 1955. It was known as the "Cossack Church" as most of the founding members were Kuban Stanitsa. The parish transferred to the Slavic Orthodox Vicariate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in 2021.
