Small chapel located on an islet a about 100 meters into the sea, connected to the beach by a stone path, sometimes covered by the sea. The chapel was built, dedicated to Saint Nicholas patron saint of sailors, to protect village fishermen and to provide a place for families to pray for their safe return. The chapel is on the islet of Agios Nikolaos off the beach of Georgioúpoli.
