Chapel of Saint Nicholas—Lyceum Saint Nicholas

Following the Russian Revolution and Civil War, the Lyceum Saint Nicholas was opened in 1929 to serve the large community of Russian emigrants in Harbin, China. The school was under the care of Byzantine-rite Marian Fathers. When the Chinese Communists came into power in 1948 the school was closed and the priests arrested. Many were martyred in the Gulag.
