Eglise Saint-Nicolas

Alluets-le-Roi, Ile-de-France France

Roman Catholic

The church dates from the 11th century, though it was burned in the One Hundred Years War. The building was considerably rebuilt in the 1400 and 1500s. The structure has sustained significant damage from repair covering the stone with cement in the early 1900s. This has caused severe moisture damage, disolving some of the stone. Alluets-le-Roi has an association to save the church. It is a large task as the building is not listed and the community hasn't received outside support.
