The church was consecrated in 1907. Services were held from 1908 - 1957. The altar was made of oak, and the sanctuary was renovated in 1925. The church closed in 1957 as the members moved away. It is now in ruins, though the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church as carried out maintenance around the church and intends to install an information board.
