Buckenham, Norfolk England UK
[Church of England (Anglican)]
The 13th century church was restored in the 1820s and 40s, adding stone Gothic-style elements. The nave, is from the early 1100s, the tower and north doorway are 13th century. It was closed and abandoned in 1968, suffering much damage before being taken under the care of the Redundant Churches Fund in 1979.
Now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, it is consecrated but has not been in regular use since 1977. The village itself is almost totally depopulated.
