Church of England (Anglican)
The church origins date back to St. Withburga, who founded a monastery here. She was buried in the churchyard (AD 753), however, in the 10th century her remains were moved to Ely Cathedral. A spring of pure water then appeared, becoming a place of pilgrimage. The present church was built primarily between 1120 and 1250, with the central tower completed in the 1300s. 18th century writer William Cowper is buried in the church.
