These ruins of the former Roman Catholic Armenian Church of St Nicholas are from the 14th-18th century. The church was rebuilt after a fire in 1632. Destroyed by Turks in 1672, it was rebuilt from 1730-1757. It became Uniate (Byzantine Eastern Rite Catholic) in 1791, and finally Orthodox in 1840. The church was destroyed in the mid-1930s.
