The 13th century church is built of field stone and brick. The brick top floor of the tower is from 1615. The church was restored from 1824-28. The Baroque spire was destroyed in 1945, later replaced by a flat pyramid roof. The church, still a parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, is mainly used as an ecumenical and German-Polish cultural meeting place.
