Kosciól Ss Jakuba i Mikolaja

Chelmno Poland

Roman Catholic

The Gothic church, formerly Franciscan, dates from the 14th century. It was rebuilt in the 19th. When the monastery was dissolved in 1806 the rich furnishings were moved to other churches and the monastery buildings demolished. From 1822-1828 it was under the care of the Daughters of Charity, then abandoned until 1866 when it became a school chapel. General renovation in 1908-1910 gave it the furnishings it has to this day.
