The church was built as a Methodist Church in 1933 at a cost of 37 pounds ($74)and an organ (manufactured in 1896) was donated to the church. The building was also used as a schoolroom in the 1950s and it was used for Church of England services between 1950-1980. The Anglican Church purchased the building in 1994, and services are now held twice a month.
