A wooden church was built in 1697, eplaced by a stone church in the early 1700s. Fire damaged the church in 1812 and was restsored with a refectory and belfry added from 1867-1878. The church was closed in 1928 and partially demolished, removing crosses and the top of the tower. It was then used as a warehouse and later as a workshoop. It was demolished in 1956 (or 1969) of housing. The church was on Nikoyamskaya, now Ulitsa Ulyanovskaya.
