Bischwiller, Grand Est France
Roman Catholic/Reformed
The church was built in the 12th or 13th century. At the time of the Reformation in 1525 it became Reformed. That continued until 1686 when it was used exclusively for the Royal borough's inhabitants. The church was closed between 1792 and 1802. In 1837 negotiations began between the Catholics and Protestants, ending in 1857 with a simultaneum Reformed-Catholic. That is still in effect. The building was renovated in 1885.
