Church Website

One of the oldest churches in the town, San Nicola dates from the 13th century. The church building, though, is probably from the 14th century. The portal was built in 1615 using old Roman marble found in excavations. The bell tower was rebuilt during the 1800s and the church facade is from the end of the 1700s or early 1800s. The magnificent bronze door features in part scenes from the life of St. Nicholas.
