Eglise Saint-Nicolas

Mézières-sur-Seine, Ile-de-France France

Roman Catholic

The church dates from AD 970, with the present nave and bell tower built in the 13th century. The choir was remodeled from the 1500-1600s.
There is a St. Nicolas Lavoir (wash house) just above the church. It was used to wash leaks, an agricultural specialty in Mézières.
