Church Website

Built in 1824, the church is now the representative church for the Czech and Slovak Orthodox churches. Czech saints feasts are observed, the Prague bishop appoints some staff, and pilgrimages to Orthodox feasts in the Czech Republic are organized. Confiscated by the Soviets in 1932, it was used as a chemical laboratory. It was partly restored in the 1970s and returned to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1992. The church was consecrated for the Orthodox Church in Czech Lands and Slovakia in 2000.
