Ljubižda, near Prizren Kosovo
Serbian Orthodox
The church, built in the 16th century, was repainted in 1867. The entrance to the narthex contained a niche with the icon of St. Nicholas enthroned.
The church and parish house were looted, vandalized, and set on fire in 1999. It was seriously damaged, burned inside, much of the roof missing, and surrounding buildings burned down. The iconostasis has been dismantled and is kept in Velika Hoca. Many ancient furnishings have been lost. As it was unsecured it was exposed to further damage and has been essentially destroyed. In 2026 displaced residents came together with the priest from Prizren to tidy up the site. Liturgy was served and it is hoped that the church will be restored.
